BLUE BOOK collection of documents, that was published by J. Bryce in London in 1916 entitled "The Treatment օf Armenians in the Ottoman Empire 1915-16" (it was named “Blue book” due to the blue cover). The book has an extensive prologue which includes the brief history of the Armenian people before the Genocide. The collection contains 158 documents (628 pages).

These are primary documents and evidence,  mostly of foreigners working in Turkey, newsletters and reports to their governments, eyewitness memoirs, letters and complaints on the deportation and annihilation of the  Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in 1915-16.  "Blue Book" materials convincingly prove that the massacre of the Armenians was not the manifestation of Muslim fanaticism nor a intertribal hostility; it was a planned state policy, which was prepared and implemented by government authorities i.e. "Union and Progress" party leaders.

While choosing materials J. Bryce displayed neutrality, seeking to include documents of the representatives of neutral countries (missionaries, doctors, teachers, sisters of charity, scientists, military personnel, diplomats, civil servants, industrialists, etc.). To prove the validity of the collected materials, Bryce conducted extensive analytical work,  made comparisons, combinations of documents, seeking to present historical events precisely.

There are a large number of materials that expose Germany’s role in the Genocide of the Armenian people.

"Blue Book" is the ideological and political weapon against the history, against old and new Turkish  falsifiers, it is for the sake of historical truth and fair demand of the Armenian people.
